Effortless color starts with intention...

Low-maintenance color isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing it right from the start.

I hear “low-maintenance color” all the time. most people think it means something simple. Like less time, less effort, maybe even less cost. But that’s not really what it means.

Low-maintenance doesn’t come from doing less. it comes from doing it right from the start. It’s about where the color is placed. How it blends with your natural tone. How it grows out after a few weeks… not just how it looks the day you leave. Because the goal isn’t perfect hair for one moment.

It’s hair that still feels good weeks later.

For some of my clients, that looks like a softer, lived-in blonde that grows out without harsh lines.

For others, it’s deeper, richer tones that don’t fade out or feel flat after a few washes. It’s not one specific look. It’s more about creating something that actually fits your life.

Most women don’t want to be in the salon every four weeks. They just want their hair to look good without having to think about it all the time.

That’s where intention comes in.

When your color is done in a way that works with you instead of against you, everything feels easier. That’s what low-maintenance really is.

Not less care.

Just better, more thoughtful care from the beginning.

welcome to 2026

Welcome to 2026

There’s something about the beginning of a new year that invites reflection, not reinvention.

Less pressure. More clarity.

As we step into 2026, I’m thinking less about trends and more about what actually lasts. Healthy hair. Thoughtful color. Appointments that feel unrushed. A studio experience that feels steady, warm, and personal.

The Lovely Edit was created as a place to share that perspective.

Not advice shouted from a screen. Not fast beauty. Just honest insight from behind the chair. The kind of things I talk about with clients quietly. What works. What doesn’t. What matters long-term.

This year, my focus is simple:

• Hair integrity over hype

• Custom color that fits real life

• Fewer appointments, done with more care

• Clients who value quality, trust the process, and want something that feels like them

You won’t find constant updates here. This isn’t a feed. It’s a collection. A place to return to when you’re thinking about your hair, your routine, or whether a stylist feels like the right fit.

If you’re here, you’re likely someone who appreciates intention. Someone who wants their hair to feel beautiful, but also sustainable. Someone who understands that the best results come from collaboration and trust.

I’m glad you found your way here. Here’s to a year rooted in care, clarity, and quiet confidence.
